West coast hip hop is well-known for its explicit content, gangsta lyricism and killer swag over knockin' beats. Keeping the reputation of notorious talent, Qualmes
merges smooth melodies and rough diction to produce today's hottest trend in rap music. Spittin the truth of the streets from hustling to snaggin the ladies, his hard sixteens capture the ears of music-lovers all over the world. "I rep cali to the fullest and will always remember where i come from but i make sure to keep my songs universal for everybody to hear my story of my life and what i been through to get to where i am now." Rockin any given stage, Qualmes quickly began to build a loyal fan base that fell in love with his unique style. The Game's Blackwallstreet immediately recognized his growing popularity and got him on their mixtape with DJ Haze. "Recipe for Destruction" was downloaded over 1,000 hits within hours of the first day it was released. Working with Flipmode Squad's producer Tony "Tone" Touch, ghost-writing for major artists, and selling out club appearances, Qualmes was also sponsored by clothing brand Soul Assassins and his hit single "Kilos and Grams" was the theme song on their selection ads. Qualmes is currently working on another mixtape called "From the Ground Up" with DJ Woogie from Shadyville that's anticipated to drop June 15th "Stay true to the game and the game will pay you back. I put in enough work by 21 and this industry is about to get shut fuck down". You dont want no QUALMES.

Mr Jefferson, first name Joe, started rapping when he was 8, influenced by Hip-Hop heavyweights such as Nas and Hot Boys. Hailing from Jacksonville,Florida he originally relocated from Pensacola, Florida to pursue music completely and gain more opportunity.

At the young age of 13, people started to take notice and he set a goal in music not be the best, but to be feared and respected in the game. The reason behind the stagename, Mr. Jefferson was the constant mention of him being the smallest guy around so he decided to go by the name Mr. Jefferson and of course, the name Mister demands respect.

BLACK- GAME RECOGNIZE GAME

BLACK- TALES FROM THE HOOD

Andrew Bates better known by his stage name and alias, Black, hails from Harrisburg, Pa (Star City). This self-proclaimed unsung hero became interested in rapping at the tender age of 13. Being amongst other local artists, he didn’t want to be the only one not writing so he picked up a pen, an old composition book and took his first steps on a journey that would take his mind places he could never dream of. He never sought for rapping to be any source of income, just a hobby. However, though rapping was a hobby, he worked hard to become one of the nicest at this particular craft.
Growing up Black was influenced a lot by 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, and other MC’s of the ‘90’s. Other rappers that influence Black’s music are Jay-Z, Beanie Segal, Kanye West, Freeway, Cam’ron, and more recently Joe Budden.
Black is not nor does he claim to be a thug so u won’t hear it in his music. His style is different from many of his peers as he does not rap about anything if he has not lived it; to him that is life imitating art.
You are either going to like his music or not like it. He knows that he can’t please everyone and he doesn’t try to. He speaks what is on his mind and remains truthful.

G.o.D. JEWELS- CONTROL

G.o.D. JEWELS- INSTANT MESSENGER

ALL THE OLD G.o.D. JEWELS MATERIAL

When you hear him, you'll like him, but when you listen you'll love him.

A breath of fresh air is something that you can't truly appreciate until you've nearly been suffocated, taken a step out the house on an early spring morning, or until you've gotten so accustomed to low quality material that you find yourself tolerating underachievers because they sound better than what everybody else is putting out. If you have a room full of women, with ten of them being 3's, and then you insert a 6, yes she may look better than the rest of the women, but a 6 she still is.

The good news is that a breath of fresh air is upon us all in the form of G.o.D. Jewels. Hailing from the South Side of Chicago, otherwise known as the Wild Wild 100's, G.o.D. Jewels has been honing his craft, while quietly making moves and conjuring up his personal campaign on how he plans to enter the game, take over the game, and leave an impact that will match up with Hip-Hop's pioneers and ambassadors.

When first encountering this young artist, many people will wonder what motivated him to choose the name he uses. Taking a page out of the late Notorious B.I.G.’s book, the acronym “G.o.D.” serves as a catchall for a wide array of sayings and slogans that Jewels lives by. Whether it’s “Glory or Death” or “Greatness opens Doors”, “G.o.D.” can take on almost infinite meanings. At the same time, he feels as though he is in fact “God’s Jewel”. A special and uniquely talented individual, blessed with poetic and musical gifts that would make Apollo himself green with envy. He encourages everyone to realize their full potential and worth as human beings. “We’re all jewels in our own right, some just shine harder than others.”

Living in the Midwest in his formative years has molded an original artist whose style is not in prison; not trapped in one dimension. While his Chicago pride and dialect is very evident in his music, with his manifest destiny flow, his words and style transcend the regions. If you are a fan of hip-hop, you will be a fan of this man.

In today's music industry, especially hip-hop, who you are off of the microphone often takes precedence over what you are saying. G.o.D Jewels realizes this, and does not shy away from who he is, and how his environment has influenced him. Violence doesn't fuel his lyrics, and his priority isn't to be a super-thug, however he does live by the first law of nature, self-preservation.

Although he is not a member of any prevalent Chicago gang, he has lived around many people who at one time would be considered rival gang members. Jewels could be known as a street scholar because he definitely knows his lit [fundamental knowledge about an organizations background, what they believe, the founders, and why they are who they are]. Jewels is one of the many who now realize that gang banging and killing over blocks and colors is senseless. His crew, Embassy Empire, also known as E2, is made up of one of the Folks, one of the Black Stones, and one of the Lords. He states, "So it's like almost all gangs is represented within that one clique. And that's just a symbol of where Chicago is at right now as far as gang relations...Everybody kick it, and everybody is cool...Regardless of who or what you is. I know a lot of Folks, Moes, etc. I don't give it a second thought, that's how used to it we are."

It's been said that the strong move quiet, and while Jewels has been quietly honing his craft, there is a rage within him that the rap game will soon feel. Jewels will let you know, financial prosperity in this game is definitely a motivation, but respect and accolades for his work take precedence. So embrace yourself for a movement, a movement that will create classical music, and tell the contemporary story on what it means to be young, black and gifted in this ever-changing volatile world.

HENZ$- DO YOU

HENZ$- SEXUAL HEALING

HENZ$- CROSSCOUNTRY ROYALTY FEAT. G.o.D JEWELS AND DOM KENNEDY

HENZO....NOT ONLY IS HE TAKING OVER NIKETALK HE TRYING TO TAKE OVER THE RAP GAME ALSO. HERES A SHORT BIO FROM HENZ$ HIMSELF.

Henz0 from brooklyn, new york. 23yrs old. Hobbies are basketball football music and video games. Very laid back and humble person, which may surprise some from the music. I started rapping a little over a year ago because a few people told me that i had a rappers voice and people have been following my moves for a long time now so what better way for them to follow than thru music. I wouldnt say I look up to anyone in music but the main people i fucks with are Jay-z, Eminem, Cam, Fab, Budden, Juelz, Wayne & Jeezy.. I would describe my rap style as a in your face style, not to lyrical but the point definitely gets across, I try to be funny/entertaining and aim for quotables because thats the kind of music that I enjoy listening to. Sometimes when u go for the super lyrical approach it goes way over peoples heads, especially if you're somebody new aint nobody tryna decipher ur lyrics.

GREEN STREET- THALLIUS(MIXTAPE)

GREEN STREET IS A GROUP OF EMCEE'S AND DUDES PUTTING IN SOME WORK ALREADY. DUDES ARE OPENING UP FOR LUPE FIASCO AND THEY HAVE SOME NEW MUSIC COMING IN THE NEAR FUTURE. I JUST LISTEN TO THERE MUSIC AND I'M REALLY IMPRESSED. SO CHECK THEM OUT...

Green Street is a hip-hop/jazz group, consisting of emcee A-live, and producer Renaissance. Originally from Boston, MA and now residing in Brooklyn, NY, they are always trying to push the boundaries of hip-hop music. By using everything from samples to live instrumentation, Green Street brings back the sound from the Native Toungues-era while still keeping it fresh and relevant for today’s audience. Often compared to the likes of A Tribe Called Quest and The Roots, Green Street brings a positive energy with their music, fusing true school hip-hop rhetoric with soulful jazzy backdrops. In 2006, they released their critically acclaimed independent album Livin’ On Green Street, which featured guest appearances from Phonte of Little Brother and Replife. Since then, Green Street has gone on to collaborate with Oddisee, of Low Budget/Halftooth Records fame, and Tableek of the legendary Masspyke crew. They have toured through various colleges and venues along the East Coast. Whether performing with a live band or rocking over instrumentals, Green Street is known for the energy they bring to every live show.

Here is what everyone is saying about Green Street…

“Green Street may have hit a note with fans that will spread much deeper than blue…they are quickly spreading their vibes, and hoping everybody will join them for the type of lifestyle they and everybody else should be on, on Green Street.”
- MVRemix.com

“…now the two work under the name Green Street, diving into progressive, jazz influenced jams that don’t leave much to be desired.”
- The Hippodome.org

“There hasn't been a lot of mellow, jazzy hip-hop coming out of the Boston area the past couple of years…this joint is a nice change of pace.”
- Artofrhyme.com, after Green Street was featured in AOR’s “New Joints” section for October 2008

“It’s not quite fair to call Green Street a group….more like a soulful movement. I’m convinced with their talent they can do anything, hip-hop, jazz, soul, and probably some electronica if they really felt like hookin’ it up...”
- Barsnhooks.wordpress.com
