PHAZE 1NE- BACK STABBERS

Stephen Landers (Phaze 1ne) was born on May 11th, 1992 in Cleveland, Ohio. At the age of 10 Phaze 1ne was abandoned by his mother. After going through that experience Phaze began writing down the way that he had felt about going back and forth between homes and the whole situation with his mother. At the time Phaze had no intention of becoming a rapper. Later after being influenced by his grandmother Donna Jackson (former member The Crystals), Phaze began turning the things that he wrote into lyrics which lead to his very first song at the age of 14 "As I Lay". After getting a little buzz at such a young age, Phaze became determined to pursue a career in music. At the time Phaze was going by his regular name "Stephen Landers". Later on that year one of Phaze 1ne's friends told him that you have to start at phase one in your music career which is when he started calling himself Phaze 1ne. Phaze joined his first group Blood Money Records when he was in the 9th grade. Blood Money Records consisted of Young Dre, Young Slap, Money, and Phaze 1ne. After having problems with the group Phaze began his solo career and has been making moves ever since. Phaze 1ne's first major song during his solo career was "I'm Fresh" featuring Young Shottie. After that Phaze continued to make hits such as "Let You Know" and From Me To You ft. Bam. At the age of 15 Phaze 1ne met "Hustlin Heavyweights" manager Dame Harris at a performance at Peabody's Down Under in Cleveland, Ohio. After getting a business card from Dame he noticed on that card that he had his own label (425 Entertainment) and was also a manager. After being turned down from many other managers and labels Phaze figured It wouldn't hurt to get in contact with Dame. After sending a demo to Dame Harris he had an instant reply waiting for him in his inbox. "Phaze 1ne has a very unique and refreshing sound, that is good on the ears" said Dame, "You don't hear to many artist making good music like this any more. His work ethic and hunger for this music is remarkable, to say the least. To be so young and so talented is amazing within itself. Phaze1ne is what this music industry needs today, and I see him going very far in this industry." Phaze 1ne is now 16 and is signed to 425 Entertainment and will continue to succeed.
