The long wait is over for the Air Jordan VI x Nike Air Yeezy Doernbecher. The shoe has been put on eBay and the proceeds will go to the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. The size 12 Nike Air Yeezy will come in a special lasered box, to showcase its one-of-one characteristic. The shoe itself is crazy, using a black upper consisting of a patent leather strap, leather ankle panel, suede toe, and perforated nubuck side panel. But most of all, the shoe sits atop a Jordan VI (6) outsole, making this black on black shoe the first and only of its kind. To contrast the shoe, the Air Yeezy lacelock is fitted in orange, standing out on this neckbreaker. So get ready to spend some real dough for a couple good causes: charity and heat for your feet.

Finally, detailed images of the long awaited release of Air Jordan XII (12) White/Varsity Red/Black have surfaced and become available for presale. The retro appears to stay true to the original 1997 release, unlike the alterations seen on the Flu Game Air Jordan XII. However, the overall shape of this retro seems to be a tad bit different from the original. None the less, Jordan Brand fans will rejoyce at the sight of these. Winter/Holiday 2009 is shaping up to be one of the better years in terms of releases for the Jordan Brand.
In commemoration of Michael Jordan’s illustrious career and recent induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame, Nike has unveiled an Air Jordan “History of Flight” online look-book for fans to view. Images of a sample pair of one of the most popular OG colorways of the Air Jordan VII, the ‘Bordeaux’, surfaced on the web this week. Needless to say, they’ve got a lot of people excited. Since making its debut in 1991, Jordan Brand has yet to re-release the model, despite rumors of its inclusion in the 7/16 Countdown Pack. Keep in mind that these are only samples, but they’re certainly a welcomed step towards the possibility of a new release. In the meantime, keep your fingers crossed and check out the rest of the pictures after the jump.
The image of what is rumored to be called the Air Jordan Alpha 1 has surfaced. We were told that the Jordan Alpha 1 series will initially hit retailers in two colorways, beginning in Spring, 2010. The colorway of the Size 9 sample (pictured) is reminiscent of the Original Air Jordan I (1) White-Black-Red scheme, which is a grail Jordan to many collectors. To those who cannot afford to pay thousands for a vintage Air Jordan 1 from 1985 (or a 1994 retro model), this colorway of the Jordan Alpha 1 may possibly fill a void.

The countdown is on until the greatest of all time being enshrined to the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame. To celebrate this ultimate accomplishment by Michael Jordan, Jordan Brand assembled the Jordan Moments Collection that remembers some of MJ’s greatest moments.
The Jordan Moments Collection celebrates The Beginning, The Championships, and The Future. Being the shoe that started it all, the Air Jordan 1 was selected to represent The Beginning. The shoe features a black leather and patent leather upper with the moments repeating graphic on the ankle collar and side panel. This graphic depicts a series of numbers that tell the story of MJ’s great accomplishments and defining moments throughout his career. This graphic is carried through the entire collection.
The Air Jordan 1 “Moments” will release on September 5th for $125.

Back in May, we reported that the Doernbecher Air Jordan 6 (VI) would be the next sneaker to release from the Doernbecher Freestyle series, and we now have images and more information to share. This Air Jordan 6 hosts a navy blue suede upper with gold and red accents. A couple other key aspects of this sneaker include “What time is it?” / “Game time!” on the tongue, the number one on the rear, and “06/08″ on the upper. To cap it all off, Jordan Brand has also included an icey clean clear midsole. As of now, there is no exact release information regarding the “Doernbecher Freestyle” Air Jordan 6 (VI), but a Fall 2009 release is likely.

In 1987, Michael Jordan dropped 61 points to ward off the Detroit Pistons, 125-120. That illlustrious performance from way back in the day is the subject of this Air Jordan I (1) Retro Phat Premier. Toned in Pistons blue/red, the I features a premium tumbled leather upper with canvas accents. A terrycloth fabric Swoosh stitched ‘cross the midfoot finishes things off. The Air Jordan I (1) Retro Phat Premier 60+ “Detroit Pistons” will hit House of Hoops and select Nike accounts this December.

Yesterday a few more pictures of the Air Jordan XI (11) Spacejam samples surfaced. Today, Marqueesole brings us additional detailed and up close photos of the actual production version, allowing us to see what may be the best Jordan Brand release of 2009. Subtle differences can be seen as the Jumpman on the left shoe is facing rearwards while the Jumpman on the right shoe is facing towards the front. Also, the Jumpman seen through the translucent sole is Royal Blue as well. Despite minor differences these shoes speak for themselves and all we can do is wait for the November 27th release date.
