A SNEAK PEAK: Air Jordan XI 12 Spacejam

Yesterday a few more pictures of the Air Jordan XI (11) Spacejam samples surfaced. Today, Marqueesole brings us additional detailed and up close photos of the actual production version, allowing us to see what may be the best Jordan Brand release of 2009. Subtle differences can be seen as the Jumpman on the left shoe is facing rearwards while the Jumpman on the right shoe is facing towards the front. Also, the Jumpman seen through the translucent sole is Royal Blue as well. Despite minor differences these shoes speak for themselves and all we can do is wait for the November 27th release date.

A SNEAK PEAK: Air Jordan X 10 Chicago

Last month, we brought good news that the Air Jordan X will be making a Retro comeback this March in the classic White/Black/True Red Chicago Bulls colorway. Apparently, we almost got these last year as part of the Air Jordan X/XIII Countdown Pack. This colorway was originally considered for the Air Jordan X edition of the pack, but was eventually replaced by the Dark Shadow version instead. The above sneaker is a look see sample, one of only six that were produced. It sports the White/Black/True Red color scheme and has Jordan's comeback number, "45″, stitched onto the ankle. This is just a left shoe sample, available without a partner on eBay, but would still make a nice addition to a lot of collectors' Air Jordan displays. You can check out a bunch more pics after the jump while you're waiting for the Retro version to hit stores in March.
A SNEAK PEAK: Air Jordan 12 XII Flu Game

2009 brings an official comeback for the Air Jordan 12, with pairs like the Nubuck and Rising Sun, many will enjoy the original Black and Red colorway, also known as the Air Jordan 12 Flu Game. The Black/Red Air Jordan 12 are nicknamed the Flu Game due to Michael Jordan having a stomach flu during game 5. Despite being severely sick, Jordan scored 38 points against the Utah Jazz. 12 Years later, Jordan Brand will once again release the black and red color scheme, but with subtle changes. For example, the Air Jordan 12 Flu Game will feature the year (97) and the points scored (38), and a cartoon sick face on the tongue. An exact release date has not been issued, but will hit retailers in November 2009.

A SNEAK PEAK: A.R.C. x Nike Dunk High “Black, White, Gum & Bang!” Release

At 2 P.M. Saturday, August 1st, A.R.C., or better known as the Alife Rivington Club will release their latest collaboration, the A.R.C. x Nike Dunk High Supreme TZ. As stated by A.R.C., “In contrast to the previous collaborative release between Alife Rivington Club and Nike—the all white A.R.C. AF1—this A.R.C. Nike Dunk High features an all black upper adorned by a white Swoosh and a white A.R.C. seal on the heel. As with the AF1, the upper sits on a tonal midsole and gum colored outsole. Hidden within the shoe’s simple and classic upper design are technical features that enhance its functionality, most notably in the use of Schoeller technical fabrics and 0.44 sticky rubber outsole.” The shoe will retail for $158.00 USD and the first 100 customers will receive a complimentary “Black, White, Gum & Bang” T-shirt. If this isn’t enough, A.R.C. will have turntablist and scratch champion DJ Craze spinning in A.R.C.’s courtyard between 3-6P.M. for those who purchase the shoes.

When thinking of the Nike Air Trainer II, many may associate it with the 2008 Nike SB x Supreme collaboration. The latest Nike Air Trainer II pays homage to one of the greatest athletes of recent history, Vincent Edward “Bo” Jackson. Synonymous for playing with then the Los Angeles Raiders, Bo Jackson’s image is depicted on the tongue in Techmo Bowl’s pixilated fashion. The Nike Air Trainer II will be released in two colorways, black and white, both consisting of leather, patent leather, and nubuck.

Take the hot, new Air Penny hybrid and hit the invert button on the black and metallic silver colorway and you get these. The sneaker features a mostly metallic silver upper along with a clear visible air unit. The Air Penny laces seen on the darker colorway really seem to pop. Pick these up September at the House of Hoops.
